Hello, My name is Jessica Matela. I am the owner and pet care provider for Second To None Pets. I live in Newark California. I have 5 years of Veterinary and 15+ years of pet sitting experience. Animals are my passion. I have always had pets and greatly enjoy helping stray and abandoned animals in the community. I love rescuing pets in need and finding them wonderful homes. I can not imagine my life without animals. I am pleased to know that my clients are able to go on vacation while their pets are given the utmost care. I have introduced some awesome service providers to the company, they are all bonded and insured and have many years experience with animals. We look forward to meeting you and your pets soon.

Hi my name is Heather and I have had a close relationship with Jessica for over 10 years. I greatly enjoy working with her and for Second To None Pets. I provide pet care as well as handle many other business tasks within the company. I adore animals and have a large furry family of my own. I also enjoy spending time with my sons and my daughter. Hi, I'm Betty I am a veterinary technician at a local Hospital and so love spending time with animals. Currently my family consists of 2 wonderful, crazy dogs. I have been pet sitting with Champion Pet Sitting since 2012 and I enjoy the work because of the peace of mind that I help provide not only for the owners but most importantly the pets themselves

Hello! My name is Gloria and I am looking forward to providing enthusiastic, comprehensive and - most importantly - loving care for your animals, whatever type or breed they may be, when you are away from home! I have been a dog owner for over 20 years and an animal lover all my life.  I live to spend time with animals and take great joy in caring for all kinds.  I am passionate about making sure all animals live a life full of love, happiness and fulfillment and have dedicated many years to volunteering at various animal shelters across the country, from California to Alaska, and across the world, volunteering while at placements in Northern Ireland, UK and the Republic of Ireland.  

 I currently belong to two miniatures dachshunds named Badger and Moose as well live with and care for my father’s two dogs Bella and Minnie, who all provide me incredible joy. I understand the love and happiness our pets give us and, therefore, fully comprehend the trepidation one might have when contemplating being away from one’s animals. It is important to me not only to provide top notch care to your pets but also to provide peace of mind to you and your family while you are away from home.  I look forward to meeting you and providing your pets the fun, attention, love and care they need so that you may relax and enjoy the time until you come home and can be reunited with your pets again.
